Beauty: the new mascaras amaze us

Mascara is one of the foremost popular beauty products. It widens the gaze and makes it more intense. Since the launch in 1959 of the primary tube mascara by Helena Rubinstein, it's developed tons. the newest generation doesn't just dress the eyelashes, it takes care of them and strengthens them for the future. Cosmetics brands are constantly increasing their innovations. This goes through the feel of the merchandise, but also more and more elaborate brushes. I can meet all of your expectations!

• To each their formula

Mascara isn't just a brush loaded with dyes. There are different formulas to choose from depending on the eyelashes.

They are short but provided? The lengthener contains shaping and malleable waxes that create an illusion of length.

With stiff eyelashes, the curler contains waxes that dry quickly to fix their curvature. Finally, for thin lashes, the volumes, with a creamy, thickening formula, give the impression of a denser row of lashes.

• What a performance!

The basic ingredients of mascara are water, beeswax, pigment (black oxide), and castor oil. The new formulas incorporate vegetable waxes such as carnauba (extracted from the leaves of a Brazilian palm) with protective properties, softening rice, blackcurrant, and rose which play on volume. There is also pentagonal or provitamin B5 which beautifies the eyelashes and promotes their growth.

Not to mention camellia or black orchid oils for a perfect glide. The smoother textures avoid clumps. The addition of latex polymers and Imogen's allows the mascara to coat, curl and shine without e ect and without leaking.

• Zoom on the brushes

Improving textures is good. But the brush remains the key to a successful result. Review.

- The voluminous brush: very bushy and wide, it provides maximum volume.

- The curved brush: as it follows the shape of the eye, someone well-deployed each lash.

- The conical brush: it allows to work the eyelashes of the inner and outer corners. They are thus sublimated.

- The long brush: its fine and less dense bristles catch the eyelashes from the root to lengthen them.

- The ball tip: this brush may seem strange, but it is effective. She catches short lashes, separates them, and curls them to the tips.

- Plastic pins: an elastomer or silicone, this brush provides length, curvature, and volume.

- The comb brush: separates and unfolds the eyelashes.

- The brush bent at right angles: inspired by a professional technique, it avoids touching the nose or the eye area during application.

- Labrosse3D: launched in 2018, this brush with pins implanted to the hundredth-millimeter guarantees extreme volume and a homogeneous distribution of the material.

• Manual

- Apply your mascara only on the upper lashes without forgetting the external ones to open the eyes.

- Drop the material from root to tip with a zigzag motion from corner to corner.

- Leave the brush at the root for a few seconds to properly print the curvature.

- Preferably opt for a brow mascara, it gives intensity to the eyes without hardening it as much as black.

- Avoid pushing in or out of the brush several times in the tube to reload mascara. This gesture brings in air, which dries up the formula.
